Yeah, I fell for you.

Fell hard, fell fast,

Fell for who you were,

Fell for what we could have been.

I showed you my heart,

Just for your soul to depart,

Rains passed by,

Winters passed by,

You made a choice to stay by someone else’s side.

There came winds,

Then came rains,

Felt my heart shatter,

Felt my soul splinter.

Globs on my face,

Not sure if it was rain, or was just drain,

Drain from my eyes, to flood my heart.

My eyes followed you, just like they always do,

They weren’t alone, they were two,

My heart blazed, but I wasn’t amazed,

Because I fell for you, & that was a mistake.
